Volunteer / Intern
The work of our fellows, volunteers, and interns is integral to PPG. For years, students and community members have been invaluable participants in our work. While we don’t have the capacity to take on volunteers at this time, we welcome you to explore opportunities with many of our partners through Volunteer WNY.
Each summer, PPG hosts a paid internship program for students interested in policy advocacy and action-based research. Applications for the summer 2025 intern program are now CLOSED. Please look out for next year's internship application process in the fall of 2025.
- We also sponsor an Open Buffalo Public Research Fellow to research and community engagement around Open Buffalo's campaigns.
- Each summer, PPG collaborates with Cornell University on the High Road Fellowships.
- During the school year, PPG hosts masters-level interns from the University at Buffalo School of Social Work.
