
Derek Seidman is a writer, researcher, historian, and award-winning journalist focused on corporate power, labor, climate, and militarism. He is a regular contributor to the independent news site Truthout and has worked with the corporate watchdog group LittleSis for the past decade. His writing and reporting have also appeared in Jacobin, In These Times, The Washington Post, and other news and scholarly outlets, and his research has been widely cited in major media. He has a PhD in History from Brown University and has taught dozens of college courses on U.S. social movements and labor history over the past 15 years.
As a PPG Fellow, Derek is working on Forging Solidarity, a new project exploring Buffalo’s labor and working peoples’ history.
