Aaron Krolikowski is an independent research consultant based in Buffalo and is a former Director of Research and Public Policy at United Way of Buffalo & Erie County. He earned his PhD in Geography and Environment from the University of Oxford. Aaron is a Research Fellow with the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and specializes in the application of mobile technology in public and community service provision (i.e. water, health, human services, and neighborhood development). He uses novel data collection methods (e.g. community mapping, text messaging) and is actively conducting research on neighborhood development and sharing systems in WNY, working closely with community stakeholders Buffalo's University District.
