Megan Hurley is a Buffalo native who moved back to the area five years ago from DC. She is a developmental psychologist who has been teaching in the College of Education at the University of Maryland for the past 15 years. Her focus of study is child and adolescent development. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of child and adolescent development, adolescents at risk, research methods, language acquisition, and gerontology. She consults with local schools and nonprofit organizations which work with children, teens, parents and teachers.
