Nathan Daun-Barnett

Assistant Professor, University at Buffalo, SUNY

Nathan J. Daun-Barnett can speak to members of the media about college access for low-income, first generation, and underrepresented minority students, as well as strategies for increasing that access. He examines state, local and institutional policies and practices that are designed to help students and families navigate the college choice process and prepare academically and socially for post-secondary education. Much of Daun-Barnett’s research focuses on the challenge of developing large-scale systemic change around issues of college access and equity at the state and local levels.
