Affordable, quality housing is incredibly important moving forward in Buffalo – we know that there are a lot of issues at play:

-Gentrification
-Community land banks
-Rising home/rent prices
-Development related to the Green Code
-Inclusionary Zoning
-Aging in place
-Landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities
-Poverty

Let’s talk about what where we see progress so far, and how we can work together. Let’s discuss how state agencies, city officials, community thinktanks, and grassroots organizers can more closely share resources and create better outcomes for our neighbors and the community at large. Please join us as we work through these issues and try to answer the question: What does affordable housing look like in Buffalo and New York State in the next 10-20 years?
