Join us on The Public Good this week! We'll hear from PPG Policy Fellow Megan Hurley and Chief David Zack and Sergeant Justin Haag of the Cheektowaga Police Department discussing the Blue Bridges program. The program was created in late 2017 to bridge the gap between law enforcement and youth populations n the Town of Cheektowaga and surrounding areas by engaging in athletic events, charitable projects, and early intervention sessions. The goal is to establish a culture of community policing through consistent positive interactions between local law enforcement and youth populations.
