Join us on The Public Good. This week, we speak with Rusty Weaver, Director of Research at the Cornell ILR Buffalo Co-Lab and Meghan Maloney de Zalvidar, Upstate Director of Advocacy at the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC).

They discuss the redistricting process, why this year's redistricting process is unique, and the reasons and motivations behind redistricting. They also discuss the impact redistricting has on every day people, why how drawn lines can help or hurt communities, and why this process is particularly important for immigrant communities and communities of color.
