Join us on The Public Good this week! We’ll hear from Katie Adamides, Danielle Pelfrey Duryea, and Jalonda Hill of the Fair Fines and Fees Coalition. Convened by the Western New York Law Center and Buffalo’s African American Health Disparities Task Force, the Coalition consists of concerned Buffalo residents and grassroots organizations who address disparate ticketing and fining in low-income communities of colors. They’ll be discussing the work they’ve done so far, as well as their upcoming event Traffic Enforcement, Fines, and Fees: A Community Conversation.
To learn more about the Coalition and follow their work, check out their Facebook page here. And, follow Traffic Enforcement, Fines, and Fees: A Community Conversation. And then, tune in live on Power 96.5 WNY at 10pm, and on PPG’s Facebook page at 1pm Tuesday, June 10th. You won’t want to miss it!
