Join us on The Public Good! This week we are amplifying a snippet of our August 13th workshop focusing on the policy strategies needed to make education equitable in the short and long term. We're joined by Dr. Dia Bryant of The Education Trust–New York, Samuel Radford III of CAO Better Schools/Better Neighborhoods program, and Jessica Bauer Walker of CoNECT and Buffalo Public Schools Community Health Worker Parent Association.

The current Covid-19 crisis and racial uprisings are providing momentous challenges and opportunities to tackle systemic inequality and disparities in education. This show will explore education policy priorities that can drive equity, from implementing the existing Buffalo Public Schools Wellness Policy and Code of Conduct to closing learning gaps and adopting anti-racist policies and practices.

Listen here on Facebook, or tune in at 10pm on Power 96.5 WNY.
