At PPG, we run an annual democratic process where you – our partner organizations – decide what policy changes we will work on together. PPG invites our partners to submit proposals for the Community Agenda. Partners meet, collaborate, and discuss ways to change local or state policies to advance equality and justice, sustainability, and cultural vibrancy in Buffalo Niagara. Then, the partners take a vote, and the top ten proposals become the focus of PPG's work for the coming year.

In this session, we will provide an overview of our Community Agenda process and answer the following questions:

  • What are the steps and timeline for the Community Agenda process?
  • What are the requirements for pitching a policy change proposal?
  • What’s expected of your group if your proposal gets voted on to the Community Agenda?
  • What kind of help and support does PPG offer throughout the year for groups on the Community Agenda?

Please register here.

The session will be presented by Dejia James, PPG Director of Policy Advancement and Media, and Andrea Ó Súilleabháin, PPG Executive Director.
