Language Access advocates! We have an opportunity to pass a law requiring language access in Erie County this year.
The law would apply to all County government services and would require Erie County to provide free interpretation and translation for all County services in the top 10 languages.
Please join us on September 14th from 6:00-7:30pm on Zoom to hear updates on the law from Chairwoman April Baskin and learn how you can get involved in the fight to pass this law this year.
Hosted by the Language Access Working Group which is composed of New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), Journey's End Refugee Services, International Institute of Buffalo, Partnership for the Public Good, UB School of Social Work, Burmese Community Services, and more.
