Buffalo's New City Hall: Who's Who and What They Do

This year, Mayor Sean Ryan is leading a new administration in City Hall. At his inauguration in January, Mayor Ryan announced that more than 30 senior-level positions in City Hall had already been filled. Since then, additional commissioners and leaders were hired, with several offices and departments restructured along the way.

In this workshop, learn who holds leadership positions in City Hall, what their roles and responsibilities are, and what changes have been made to city departments. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss issues they encounter in their own neighborhoods and work together to identify which offices and officials can best address those concerns.

Understanding who is responsible for different areas of city policy and services is a critical step to advocating effectively. We’ll discuss the most effective ways to reach city officials, and what to include when contacting an official to ask for assistance, a decision, or a policy change.

Please register here. Space is limited to 30 participants per workshop, so please register only if you are confident you can attend.
