Budgeting is one governmental process that is typically opaque to the public. Erie County’s 2021 adopted budget is over $1.6 billion dollars, funding many activities that are critical to community including housing, childcare, health, and mental health. At this workshop, learn more about what makes up the county budget and what spending changes are proposed for 2021-2022. The public hearing on next year’s proposed budget will be held on Monday, November 15. Ahead of the hearing, join us to learn more and consider sharing your budget priorities, feedback, and concerns with the County Legislature.
