Pure Ink Poetry wants to encourage and inspire others to engage in literature, poetry, spoken word, artistic performance and self-expression. They are the only monthly running poetry slam in Buffalo, NY and are nationally certified by Poetry Slam Incorporated. 

The Calamus Project is a collaboration of many partners dedicated to presenting Whitman’s Calamus poems in an engaging way through films, programs, and their website.
