The tenth item voted by partners onto PPG’s Community Agenda this year is to Leverage Fair Housing Laws and Create Incentives to Dismantle Regional Segregation in Erie County. This week we’re joined by members of a leading partner organization on this agenda item – Heather Abraham, Associate Professor and Director of the Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic at the University at Buffalo School of Law, and two students – Qui’Essence Harris and Giovanni Gaglianese. They’ll dive into the policies Erie County could adopt to reduce racial housing segregation, including increasing zoning density, incentivizing affordable housing in high-opportunity neighborhoods, and more.
