Stan Martin is leading the youth and community led effort to ban menthol tobacco in the City of Buffalo. He partners with local and national organizations to educate government policy-makers, Buffalo Common Council on how Big Tobacco has intentionally targeted the Black Community with flavored tobacco products and plans to addict the next generation of replacement smokers, our youth! He has submitted a proposed Ordinance to the Buffalo Council, which University District Councilman, Rasheed Wyatt, is championing to move forward. Last week, the Common Council adopted a Resolution for this effort.
