The Buffalo Common Council and Erie County Legislature have announced public hearings on the proposed Buffalo Bills stadium. To date, Pegula Sports & Entertainment have asked for a new stadium to be 100% publicly funded. Many news outlets have reported that Pegula Sports & Entertainment is seeking $1.4 billion in taxpayer assistance, including grants and tax breaks, to fund a new stadium.
While the new stadium will be county-owned, many residents and elected officials object to it being fully taxpayer-funded.
On Tuesday, November 9 at 5:30pm, Buffalo Common Council is inviting residents to a public hearing to share in particular where they would like the new stadium to be located. Join the hearing in Buffalo Common Council Chambers, 65 Niagara Square (City Hall), 13th floor.
