There are now many different products and processes that involve factory-made housing units or housing components. Industry spokesman are reaching out to groups in Buffalo-Niagara. It would be helpful to have an assessment of current products and processes and whether it would be wise to integrate any of them into affordable housing in Buffalo-Niagara. How green and affordable are they compared to “stick-built” alternatives? Are there options that would fit well with the historic architecture and urban fabric of the region?
