Caitlin Love Crowell

Caitlin Love Crowell joined PPG in August 2023 as a Community Researcher. Prior to this, she worked as a teacher for many years. She is also a longtime community activist and volunteer, particularly in the fields of racial justice, migration, peace, poverty, LGBTQ+ issues, arts, and AIDS.

Currently, her work at PPG focuses on education, arts, housing, police oversight, and the work of the Buffalo Common Council.

Caitlin studied Women's Studies at the University of Buffalo, and her graduate work was done at University of South Florida and Yale University. Her areas of focus were Black women, international feminist activism, and the history of sexuality.
